CG Master Academy (CGMA)
CGMA is an online art academy dedicated to helping artists develop and cultivate their creative talents. CGMA runs four terms a year. Each term you have a variety of classes to choose from. The length of one course is of 8 weeks, plus you will be given two extra week to review the whole course at the end of the term. The complete access to the course will be of 10 weeks. You will continue to have access to your previous term assignment feedback and Q and A for another 6 months. When you complete 6 out the 8 assignments by the end of the course you will receive a certificate of completion.
CG Master Workshops (CGMW)
CGMA offers not only 8 week master class courses, but also smaller-scale workshop videos for students who would like to have smaller video sessions to learn specific techniques. You can find these at www.cgmwonline.com
The workshops are taught by the best in the industry; Individuals we like to call “Master’s”. These artists have years of experience and have worked for many of the major studios (including: Disney, Blizzard, DreamWorks, Pixar, Digital Domain, etc.) or renowned published artists, and are passionate about mentoring the next generation of artists. Their goal is to provide students with an environment that will help them retain the most from their education, in order to help them achieve their aspirations in becoming better artists.
Workshops begin once the user has set the starting date at 12am PST. Once purchased, you can watch, and re-watch, the workshop(s) as many times as you like. However, they will only be accessible for the length of time you chose at check-out according to the number of workshops you bought in a single purchase. You can change the dates of your starting viewing time as long as it is done prior to the original date selected.
Additionally, you can check out CGMA’s YouTube channel for the previous Q&A session recordings of all workshops free of charge. You can also find master class demonstrations, interview with the masters and a lot of other very helpful and free video resources on their channel! https://www.youtube.com/user/CGMWORKSHOPS . Subscribe and stay up to date when they release new updates!
CGMA also offers fantastic student services, helping inquiring artists find out the best suitable classes for their current skill levels. Simply send them over a PDF, ZIP or URL of your work and they can recommend classes and inform you of when new students will be accepted. For further information and to get in touch, email registration@cgmwonline.com and tell them ArtSchoolDB sent you!
