How Can I Improve My Art & Drawing Skills?
That’s probably the #1 question art students ask me. The generic answer would be to just “draw more”. While it is true that drawing ‘more’ is important, there are two key elements that are missing from this simple statement. These elements are so powerful that they can rapidly boost your progress, artistic growth and skill level.
Do you know what they are?
It’s good information and…
Yes, I know. It sounds so obvious, and simple. But is so often overlooked.
While practice and self-study is important, without good information, how will you know what to practice, what to study, or what to draw or paint? When you are exposed to good information you will be able to make the most of your drawing time because you’ll be using powerful methods that have been proven to work. The right mentor can also help you to rapidly grow and develop by providing valuable insight, guidance and inspiration.
How can I get good information and mentorship to improve my drawing skills?
I’ve been personally obsessed with drawing better and becoming a world class artist and instructor. This obsession has driven me to constantly gather and study good information. I’ve also sought out mentors and master artists, seeking their advice and guidance. Now, I want to share that information and mentor others in their journey to become great artists.
