I find cool stuff all the time that I’d like to share, but don’t have the time to write a full page article about.  Below I’ve listed some of the things I’ve come across during the past week.

Recently I’ve been finding a lot of great art related Youtube channels so I thought I’d feature some of them here.

Sinix Design

Sinix has been creating Youtube videos since 2007 on a wide variety of subjects.  He’s been doing this for long enough that there’s a perceptible progression in both his abilities as an artist and his confidence making videos.

Cesar Santos

Cesar Santos is a representational painter working in oil paint and charcoal.

Recently he’s been doing regular vlogs on an array of subjects related to drawing and painting.  The guy’s got a ridiculous amount of energy and enthusiasm.

Also worth checking out is his interview on Suggested Donation.

Zin Lim

Zin Lim is an artist and instructor who teaches at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

He has been releasing drawing and painting demos on his Youtube channel for several months.  It’s mostly figure drawings, plus a bunch of Game of Thrones character portraits, but they’re very good.

Wylie Beckert

Wylie Beckert is an illustrator currently working on a card deck based on the deadly sins & heavenly virtues called Reign of Sin.  She does some pretty in-depth tutorials on her working process and posts the videos on her Youtube channel.

Andrew Covington
Andrew has been obsessed with drawing and painting for most of his life. In 2014 he created the Art School Database. You can view his portfolio andrewbcovington.com
